  3. Skillinzo Admin Application

I was told it would be a good idea to re-do my scenario questions so here is my update version! In Game Name: twitch.tv/skillinzo Discord ID: Skillinzo#6001 SteamID: STEAM_0:1:171713993 Age: 15 Time zone: GMT Playtime on CSGO: 930 Playtime on XGC Servers: 8 hours and 39 minutes. I understand the expected is around 24 hours and I'm far from it, however, I feel as my hours on CS:GO in general and my previous experience in server moderation really improves my overall skill in this sense. In addition, I have played enough of the server to truly understand the amount of toxic players that occur and how many cheaters I have seen blatantly get away with it. Describe in detail two scenarios involving a user breaking the rules. What would you do? -Scenario 1 - I join the server because there are reports of someone playing loud music down their microphone. If they are a known player and I am sure they are aware of the rules I would issue them a 10 - 20 minute mute for their first offence. If I don't recognise the player and their stats suggest they're new, I would perform a 2 minute mute warning them to stop, if they continued I would mute them again for 10 - 20 minutes and if they still fail to abide by the rules I would mute them for 1 hour. Scenario 2 - I am playing one of the servers and notice a player who is getting some fishy shots. I would join spectator mode and would record from the suspected players POV and re-watch the evidence and look for anything fishy (Pre-firing, unusual wallbanging etc). If I am unsure whether or not the person is hacking I would look for a second opinion and get a fellow admin into the server and look for themselves to help me out, to stop any false bans. If I am sure they are cheating I would permanently ban the player off of all XGC servers. Past Experiences: I was a moderator on the ENW servers on CS:GO and I've had a bunch of minecraft moderation, administration and managing experience, this is not directly linked to CS:GO but the skills I acquired such as: patience, responsibility and how I act upon rule violators was massively improved from that. Why should we accept you? Because I am extremely active on CS:GO and almost always online when I'm not at school or work. In addition, my ability to understand and react to situations well is good alongside my amazing talent of understand Spanish. Furthermore, I'm #1 on retakes!

  6. Skillinzo Admin Application

the whole point of the scenarios is to give YOUR approach, im not tryna be a dick or anything, but i can highly doubt you'd handle it the same way i would.
  7. Skillinzo Admin Application

If I'm being 100% honest. I could, if admins wanted me to, re-do my scenarios - but my pure understanding is there and that is what they're looking for; I was struggling to think of scenarios off the top of my head so I look for inspiration.

uHM, you literally copied my cheater scenarios and just very slightly re-worded them lmfao

In Game Name: twitch.tv/skillinzo Discord ID: Skillinzo#6001 SteamID: STEAM_0:1:171713993 Age: 15 Time zone: GMT Playtime on CSGO: 930 Playtime on XGC Servers: 5hrs 15 minutes. Scenario 1 - A user has joined the server and players have reported said user to myself that he has been promoting toxic behaviour and violating this rule, particularly to players who are lower on the scoreboard. Despite the fact they now understand I am an admin, they continue with their toxic behaviour towards myself and other users playing the server. Initially, I would execute a gag / mute (depending on how they are communicating: text / voice), however, I would allow the violator to continue playing. If the user begins to show their wrong doing in form of their actions (griefing etc) then I would perform a ban of 30 minutes and if he dares continue I would ban him for another 60 minutes. If the user decides they want to be most of a pest and continues with his rule violation, I would slowly move towards a permanent ban. Scenario 2 - A user playing on one of the servers PM's me to inform me there is a cheater on the servers. To begin with I would gather details of the suspected cheater (Steam account, SteamID) this is so that in the future monitoring suspected player would be a lot easier and I would be more efficient to banning them if they are cheating.. I would join the server the suspect is playing, if I notice any fishy shots after monitoring the player for approximately 1-2 matches, to ensure I do not falsely ban anyone. If I find the suspect guilty of cheating , I would perm ban the user from all XGC servers. 10. admin Aphix_ Admin Application

Application: In Game Name: Aphix_ Discord ID: Aphix_ #0360 SteamID: STEAM_0:1:70474240 Age: 17 Time zone: GMT Playtime on CSGO: 2810 Hours (As of 2/12/17) Playtime on XGC Servers: Well over 6-7 days worth (Last month alone was 4) Describe in detail two scenarios involving a user breaking the rules. What would you do? Scenario 1 - A user has entered the server and players have reported to myself that he has been aggressive or toxic, particularly to players who are lower on the scoreboard. Talking to the user, they remain hostile towards myself despite the information that I am an admin. Initially, one would resort to a Gag / block on communications such as text or voice, but I would enable them to continue playing. If the user begins to grief and shows signs of unfriendly conduct towards others (spamming profiles with comments, etc.) then a timeout ban of 30 minutes, to an hour would suffice. Obviously, further interactions with the user would result in a more permanent Ban. Scenario 2 - A user has entered the discord server with claims that there is acheater on a server. First, I would get the details of the suspected cheater (Steam ID) so if they leave before i can act, i can monitor them in the future. I would join the server the suspect is using, and monitor them closely for approximately 1-2 matches, to confirm my suspicions fully. If I find the suspect guilty of cheating , i would insta-ban them from all XGC servers and just as a sidenote, thank the user who reported the cheater for their cooperation. Past Experiences: Admined for GZS Retake Servers Why should we accept you? I practically live on XGC servers these days and come across cheaters / toxic people way too often. Everyone who plays regularly knows me and regards me as a skilled player and a nice guy. With over 2.8k hours, I like to think I can analyste when players are cheating very well ( I also do overwatch cases a lot to cement this belief ), and I also believe that I am mature in dealing with toxic players.

  15. Before applying for staff: Be active on our discord server. There is no point in giving someone staff that doesn't try to interact with other members and staff. We expect applicants to have at least 24 hours game time on our servers prior to applying, this shows that you've been with us for a while Having around 750 hours of game time in CSGO, we feel as if the longer you've played the game you'll develop a better understanding of cheats. We do not currently have an age restriction for our staff team, if you can prove to us that you're mature that will do fine. If you're a VIP, it will increase your chances as it shows you really do want to see the community grow and develop. We like our staff members to be active of a suitable amount, so if you don't play regularly your chances of being accepted will go down. Try to record any players for whatever reason before you ban them, so if they dispute you have evidence against them. DO NOT LIE IN YOUR APPLICATION! If you have found to be lying, you will be denied and revoked from applying ever again.
